Thrive's Yoga Alliance - approved, 200-Hour 2024 teacher training provides a solid foundation to advance your practice and to teach yoga compassionately, mindfully, and joyfully. Thrive's YTT students will gain a comprehensive understanding of yoga asana (yoga postures), yoga anatomy, cueing and sequencing principles, meditation and pranayama (breath work), and yoga history and philosophy, providing the powerful ability to share the magic of yoga that we all know and love. Our YTT is for those who want to teach yoga as well as for those who solely want to advance their personal knowledge and practice of yoga.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites to take Thrive's teacher training.
Ours is an entry-level training, perfect for all those who:

Kindly note, teacher trainings, particularly immersion trainings like our Italy YTT, are physically and emotionally demanding. The Italy YTT is not a yoga retreat. (But if you want to retreat with us in Italy, save the dates for August 25 - 31, 2024!)

ITALY IMMERSION
Full YTT immersion from July 27 - August 24, 2024; Training schedule from 7.30am to 8.30pm daily, 5 or 6 days weekly, with breaks for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and excursions to Florence, Rome, and San Gimignano - Cinque Terre - Siena.
ITALY IMMERSION
Those who can get or who have the schedule flexibility to take four weeks off from work; those who love to travel; those who want to immerse themselves in all things yoga for a month in Italy.

The curriculum is the same as the Local Long-Format. Katie R. will be the lead trainer; Summer and Katie W. will be the supporting trainers.
ITALY IMMERSION
In Umbria, 2.5 hours south of Florence, in a gorgeous, meticulously maintained, 6 - bedroom, 6 - bathroom villa with near 360 degree views of the Italian countryside + private yoga studio + private pool near Spoleto, which has cute shops, great restaurants, and grocery stores.
ITALY IMMERSION
Immersion trainings are by nature more communal and intensive than long-format trainings. Additionally, kids are welcome on the Italy Immersion training IF a partner / significant other / family member joins (an additional fee applies) to provide full-time childcare.

LOCAL LONG-FORMAT
Every other weekend at Thrive from January 6th through June 15, 2024; alternating Saturdays from 12pm - 8pm with a one-hour break for dinner; alternating Sundays from 11.30am - 3.30pm; Zoom lectures every Thursday from 6 - 8pm.

Those who want or need to stay close to home; those who want to do their YTT in manageable, life-fitting sessions; those who can't get and don't have the schedule flexibility to take four weeks off from work.

Alternating weekend trainings are by nature more individualized than 4-week immersion trainings, but you will still get a lot of face-time with the Thrive trainers as well as with your fellow YTT students.

Local Long-Format Training

What's the schedule?
We'll meet at Thrive on alternating weekends starting the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, January 6 & 7.
Saturday sessions will be from 12pm to 8pm with an hour break for dinner (on your own) at 4pm; Sunday sessions will be from 11.30am - 3.30pm (feel free to bring lunch!)
We will hold and record lectures on Zoom every Thursday from 6pm to 9pm starting Thursday, January 11. Students can choose to participate live or listen to the recording at their leisure any time before the next YTT session.
